  Wifi wasn't free, and you couldn't actually get wifi signal in the lodge so you couldn't pay if you wanted to. Phone signal was also non existent which was incredibly inconvenient for contacting friends or organising activities. Cleanliness was mediocre; radiators were disgusting and the carpet under them was covered in dirt. We booked a 6 person lodge for 4 people (all adults, one couple and a brother and sister) and when we arrived only the double and one of the twin rooms had been made up. As the brother and sister weren't going to share this was incredibly inconvenient and we had no extra bedding and had to move bedding to make our own bed. Additionally, guests at the lodge have to be paid for (£7 per guest per day) and they have to be gone by 6pm. Location good for Alton towers and hot tub was good. But would not recommend and would not stay again.
